The November rains in Beechworth made for spectacular viewing at Woolshed Falls, just outside Beechworth. Normally just a trickle at this time of year, the water cascading over the waterfall was amazing and a little frightening. It's raining again and we are loving it. The Silver Birches and Japanese Maples at 1860 are growing by the minute and the dams are finally full. Spring Creek, normally a gente little stream is a raging creek as we speak and it's a very green spring. Let's hope the drought is on its way out.

Thankfully Beechworth and 1860 escaped the recent fires. Our condolences go out to our fellow Victorian's who have lost so much.
